Slippery Jacks are a bolete mushroom, they are a relative of the prized Porcini Mushrooms.
They have a buttery flavour which can be extracted and reduced to reveal a powerful umami sensation. Our Slippery Jacks are peeled before drying which means they are ready to cook. Simply re-hydrate and add to any dish or grind them dry and add them to seasonings or sauces.
